Used Book Donation Guidelines
Important Update
Summer 2026
The used bookshelves and storage space we utilize at the Library are filled to the brim with donations. We are not able to accept any large donations over the summer as our volunteers are busy helping with Summer Reading Program activities. We'll resume appointments in the fall.
Please see what items are acceptable by visiting the Used Book and Donation Guidelines tab on this website. And please do not deposit any used book donations in the drive-through book drop off; you may damage the new equipment the Library installed to process returns from library patrons. The book drop is only for current library materials.

Thank you for your continued support of the Friends of the Colleyville Library. As a group, we work to support initiatives that enhance the library services. This past year, Friends’ membership funds and fundraising activities have enabled the Friends to support many additional library programs…including the Makerspace, author visits and the summer reading program.
You can renew your membership by filling out the membership form under the membership link and returning it to one of the library staff with your payment.
As a special thank you to our Friends’ members, when you submit your renewal to one of the staff on duty, you will receive a Friends’ “Book Buck”. You may use it to choose a book from the Friends Used Book area as our gift to you.
Your support is instrumental in the goals for our community library.
