Used Book Sales Update and

Donation Guidelines - Summer 2023

Are you looking for a new book for your home library?  Going on a trip and need some books to read while you're away?  Come shop at the Used Book Shelves at the Library and see the books available for readers of all ages.

Because we have so many used books in the inventory and our storage space is limited, we have decided to pause appointments for accepting large donations at the Library until September 7.  We do not have the storage space or enough volunteers to assist in processing donations.

If you have just a few books to donate (no larger than a grocery sack), you may bring them into the Library during normal business hours.  Please check in with the staff at the Help Desk.

Please see what items are acceptable by visiting the Used Book and Donation Guidelines tab on this website.  And please do not deposit any used book donations in the book drop offs; you may damage the equipment the Library needs to process the returns from Library patrons.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
