Good News: Library Services resuming with social distancing guidelines in place
You can check out the good news on the Library's resumption of services and reopening on the City of Colleyville's website: www.colleyville.com. The building is open and operating under social distance guidelines for patrons and visitors. Please continue to check the city's website for more information.
Bad news: Friends Annual Book Sale Postponed and Used Books Shelves area closed.
And now, some bad news for used book lovers among the Friends. You all know that our Annual Used Book Sale scheduled for May 2 has been postponed until we can hold it on a suitable date in the fall. Well, we are also shuttering our used book shelves area at the Library until a time when it is safe for the staff and public to handle the items. We'll keep you posted on our progress towards reopening.
Bad news: Used Book Donations are not being accepted at the Library temporarily
If you or someone you know were thinking of donating books to the Library, we have a bit more bad news. We are also unable to accept any used book donations at the current time. Please keep your potential donations in a safe place at your home until we can safely process the items or consider donating the items to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. We'll announce when it is safe to bring these items into the Library.
Thanks for your support and understanding,
